Nền tảng bán vé sự kiện theo kiến trúc microservices — pnpm monorepo gồm 4 backend service độc lập, 2 ứng dụng Next.js (web public & dashboard), giao tiếp async qua Apache Kafka và realtime qua Socket.io. Event ticketing platform built as a microservices pnpm monorepo — 4 independent backend services, 2 Next.js apps (public web & dashboard), async communication via Apache Kafka, and real-time updates via Socket.io.

Thiết kế Database-per-Service với 4 PostgreSQL database độc lập; 61 API endpoints (53 public + 8 internal) phân tách theo 4 service (User :3001, Event :3002, Booking :3003, Notification :3004) routing qua API Gateway duy nhất.
Đảm bảo idempotency bằng Idempotency-Key do client gửi lên, cache trên Redis (TTL 60 giây) — request lặp (double-click, retry) nhận lại đúng response của lần đầu thay vì tạo booking trùng; chống oversell bằng atomic UPDATE ở Event Service (WHERE available_slots >= quantity) — PostgreSQL dùng row-level lock, transaction sau phải đợi và re-check điều kiện WHERE trên giá trị mới nhất, nên không cần lock thủ công.
Khi đặt vé thành công, việc tạo booking, ticket và status log được bọc trong Prisma transaction — đảm bảo rollback toàn bộ nếu bất kỳ bước nào thất bại, không có trạng thái nửa vời trong DB.
Luồng async hoàn toàn qua Kafka 9 topics / 2 consumer groups: booking confirmed/failed → email + Socket.io realtime; event cancelled → cascade cập nhật booking + hoàn slot + thông báo toàn bộ user đã đặt vé; Socket.io live feed broadcast cập nhật slot realtime đến tất cả user đang xem trang event khi có booking mới.
Notification Service tích hợp Resend + React Email (6 template) và Socket.io để emit thông báo realtime về đúng user khi đặt vé thành công hoặc thất bại.
Phân quyền RBAC (USER / ORGANIZER / ADMIN) xuyên suốt hệ thống; rate limiting 2 tầng — global (1000 req/15 phút) và auth endpoints (20 req/15 phút); internal API bảo vệ bằng x-internal-key, không expose ra ngoài Docker network; rollback tự động hoàn slot khi bất kỳ bước nào trong flow đặt vé thất bại.
Database-per-Service design with 4 isolated PostgreSQL databases; 61 API endpoints (53 public + 8 internal) across 4 services (User :3001, Event :3002, Booking :3003, Notification :3004) routed through a single API Gateway.
Ensured idempotency via a client-supplied Idempotency-Key cached in Redis (TTL 60s) — duplicate requests (double-click, retry) receive the original response instead of creating a duplicate booking; prevented overselling via atomic UPDATE in Event Service (WHERE available_slots >= quantity) — PostgreSQL uses row-level locking, so a later transaction waits and re-checks the WHERE condition against the latest value, no manual locking needed.
On successful booking, the creation of booking record, tickets and status log are wrapped in a Prisma transaction — guarantees full rollback if any step fails, no partial state left in the database.
Fully async event flow via Kafka with 8 topics / 2 consumer groups: booking confirmed/failed → email + Socket.io push; event cancelled → cascade booking update + slot refund + bulk user notification; Socket.io live feed broadcasts real-time slot updates to all users viewing the event page on new booking.
Notification Service integrates Resend + React Email (6 templates) and Socket.io to push real-time notifications to the exact user on booking confirmed or failed.
RBAC (USER / ORGANIZER / ADMIN) enforced across all services; two-tier rate limiting — global (1000 req/15 min) and auth endpoints (20 req/15 min); internal APIs protected by x-internal-key, not exposed outside Docker network; automatic slot rollback on any failure in the booking flow.
